Die Sektion Kontrollsysteme des PSI bietet eintägige Schulungen zum Kontrollsystem EPICS an. Das Training findet ein bis zweimal im Monat Mittwochs im Raum 008 (WSLA) statt. Beginn ist um 9 Uhr, gegen 16 Uhr sind wir ungefähr fertig. Unterlagen und Trainingscomputer werden gestellt. Der Kurs richtet sich besonders an wissenschaftliches und technisches Personal des PSI. The section Control Systems of the PSI offers a one-day course on the Control System EPICS. The training is held once or twice a month in room 008 (WSLA). It starts at 9:00 and ends about 16:00. Handouts and Computers are provided. The course is geared towards scientific or technical staff of the PSI.

Wir arbeiten unter anderem mit Linux Computern, deshalb sind Vorkenntnisse nützlich (aber nicht unbedingt nötig). Die Unterlagen enthalten eine kurze Liste der benötigten Befehle. We are using Linux Computer amongst others, therefore it is nice if you have already worked with Linux (but it is not necessary). There is a list of all needed commands in the handouts.

Anmeldungen bitte per mail an Elke Zimoch. Es sind mindestens drei Anmeldungen nötig, damit der Kurs stattfinden kann. Da nur vier Trainingscomputer zur Verfügung stehen werden nur in Ausnahmefällen mehr Anmeldungen für einen Termin akzeptiert. To register send a mail to Elke Zimoch. Three registrations are minimum for one date, four are maximum.
